ABOUT I graduated with a BA in Feature Animation from Laguna College of Art & Design, originally focusing on layout and background design. Combined with my childhood love of painting and color, I found myself enrichened by artists such as Hayao Miyazaki, Makoto Shinkai, and French Impressionists such as Renoir and Monet. My inspirations come from both my vivid imagination and my travels abroad. I believe my multi-cultural background (Spanish and Japanese) allows me to appreciate subtleties in both Eastern and Western cultures that either side may overlook. I strongly believe it is important to experience life around the world and all its variety of perspectives, rather than simply sitting behind a screen all day. I love making up stories, especially those deeply versed in mythology and folklore. My goal one day is to make my magnum opus - a story I've been working on since childhood - a reality. As of late, I've begun to study character design as a way of taking one step closer to a dream come true.
